Young Singers of Pennsylvania, an auditioned community children’s chorus, attracts avid singers from various communities in the greater Philadelphia area. With rehearsals in Lower Bucks County, this chorus of 35-40 members welcomes children age 7 to 13 who love to sing and wish to further their music education through choral singing.

The group practices for two hours each week and performs 8 to 10 concerts each year in the Philadelphia area.

In addition to local performances, the Young Singers of Pennsylvania embarks upon a performance tour each summer.

The choir has sung in nearly every state on the Eastern seaboard and, in addition, has traveled through much of eastern Canada.

In 2001, they were chosen to sing in Walt Disney World’s EPCOT theme park.

The chorus’s repertoire is vast and includes holiday music during appropriate seasons, light classical selections, folk tunes, spirituals, patriotic songs, and Broadway show tunes.

Membership is by audition only. Young Singers of Pennsylvania is a 501(c) (3) non-profit corporation run by a Board of Directors made up of community members who support the arts. The chorus is directed by Patricia Guth, an experienced music educator who has been conductor of the chorus since 1998. To schedule an audition, call (215) 968-9542.
