Terror Behind the Walls means just that –
a hair-raising haunted house. In honor of Halloween, the
abandoned, foreboding Eastern State Penitentiary is
transformed into a palace of fright.

An empty prison at night is scary enough, but the attraction
adds a wide range of special effects, lighting, digital sound,
props and animatronic creatures.
You never know who – or what – is lurking in those dark, dank
cells!
Five separate sections – 13 Rooms, Intake, Maximum Security,
Tunnel Escape and The Experiment – offer their own variety of
thrills and chills.
In The
Experiment, you can step inside the mind of a madman, and help the
patients take over the madhouse!
Parents,
beware: This activity truly is scary, with “things” jumping out from
the cells. It might be too much for some kids. With that in mind,
the first hour on Sundays and Oct. 19 will be tamer for ages 7-12.
